Early Voting

Okay - for the first time in my life I went to early voting - and actually just returned. My observations were astounding.

I brought my 14-year old son with me to stand in line for around an hour in order to get the vote in and hopefully lower my blood pressure a tad. I felt it was important to bring him in order to show him the process and understand that it is just not a right but a privilege to vote - a privilege that an enormous amount of men and women shed their blood on battlefields through the last two centuries in an effort to afford such a privilege. Whether or not you agree with one candidate or another, you should vote.

But what I saw wasn't whether or not people in this line stood there because they cared about the context of the candidates ideologies - it became vividly clear and validated my speculation -they were there to vote based on color. Now there were white teens there voting along the Obama ticket as well - how did I know - well they were dressed like an Obama Christmas tree.

How did I know it wasn’t about context? The young man in front of me was talking to another gentleman who was about 30 years old, and was telling him that he works at Wal-Greens and that his hours were being cut back because of the last eight years - mind you this young man was about 20 years old. He stated that if Obama wins he is:

1) Going to make a lot more money;
2) Be able to "get" a house;
3) Take November 5th off from work to party - read that last one again - he is already planning on not working but making more money and getting a house because of an Obama presidency.

I live in Port St. Lucie, Florida - a nice middle-class area. It is the fastest growing city in the United States - so we have a diverse populace. I was surrounded by people talking in all different dialect - they were there to vote for a U.S. president, but no one was speaking English.

I turned to my son and told him aloud how wonderful it is to be a college graduate (which I am), and be so much smarter than those drinking the Kool-Aid of the Democrat base.

Ladies and Gentlemen - Welcome to the Obama States of America! If Governor Palin gets Alaska to ever secede from the United States - well send the wood for my cabin to Mt. McKinley because that's where I'm going.

Okay - now I need 5mg of Lipitor!

Hugo Chavez - The PUNK!

Chavez and His Butt-Buddy - Sean Penn

As a police officer I had an incident that when I thought of Hugo Chavez, this episode came to mind.

I was walking a foot post in Crown Heights, Brooklyn - in particular on the corner of Franklin Ave and President St. Two relatively large black males were exchanging punches; it was reminiscent of Ali/Foreman. These two men stood toe to toe and bones started shattering, the reverberation of breaking bones has a divergent resonance.

In circumstances like this we usually have a saying - "the winner goes to jail, the loser goes to the hospital". One thing I learned as a rookie is to never get in between two people fighting - unless you are considerably bigger than them, or if you have enough backup to lend a hand.

Well after the mêlée I wound up arresting the superior of the two, the winner of the fight. His name escapes me, but that's neither here nor there. This was a street clash, on any other juncture I probably would have given both of them a kick in the ass and sent on their way. The arrestee flailed his arms at me so I had no alternative but to collar him.

When we arrived at the 71st Precinct I brought my collar to the desk sergeant and then was directed to bring him to the holding cell - I opted to take him into a open vicinity within the precinct (muster room) away from the cage. The rationale - on the drive in I learned something about this collar - he was a man - he may have had a violent past, but I respected the reasoning on why he fought his opponent. While in prison he had a cousin in lockup with him - naturally he looked out for his cousin. Well, when he was released this other perp, the one he was fighting, used my collars cousin as a "punk" - a punk in prison is a bitch, you want your salad tossed, get the punk - he is a individual used, abused, and sexually humiliated. My collar got wind of this when the other guy was released and duly sought street justice. He got it, he beat the living crap out of this guy - some days later I was in a brawl with a drug dealer in front of 1010 President Street - I couldn't get to my radio, but miraculously units appeared on a nameless 911 call - days after that, I passed my collar on the street and he stated that he was glad I got backup - my anonymous caller was my old collar.

I digress - Chavez is a punk to the socialists of the human race - most conspicuously Russia. Russia is using Chavez and the Venezuelan people as their punks, Castro used Chavez as his personal punk, now Putin continues that - and don’t tell me that Putin no longer runs the country - that's bunk! The funny thing is Chavez doesn't even know that he is a punk or being punked – then again, maybe he does, and maybe he enjoys the baloney pony ride.

I do believe that all diplomatic relations need to cease with Chavez until the Venezuelan people wake up. As you may notice, CITGO runs commercials in order to explain to the American people that CITGO is our friend - pretty sad state of affairs.

Though Chavez states that he doesn't care who is elected in November, I believe he does - I deem he wants Obama to win - this way the punk may wind up having a punk of his own!

Hollywood Morons Losing Fan Base i.e. Matt Damon

I have always looked at the judgment by movie stars as it related to politics with a grain of salt. My thoughts are that these are qualified actors without an iota of a thought from their cranium - only if it is a screen play.

Alec Baldwin, Madonna, Jeanne Garafalo, even those on the right as well. But the most current is Matt Damon. I have always enjoyed Damon’s movies, his depiction as fictitious characters that don't exist in reality are fun. His friendship with the incomparable Ben Affleck, the worst actor of our time, is even more hysterical.

Now comes Matt Damon’s reaction to Gov. Sarah Palin - instead of quoting what he has said - you can watch the interview right here, and decide for yourself whether or not Damon has made himself appear as a moron, disrespectful to Wasilla, AK, and to the State of Alaska in general:

This is a pretty sad statement about an actor such as Damon. His failure to concede to the fact that we know even less about Obama is amazing. That Palin has executive experience, something Obama has only read about. If you notice his temperament during the interview he made an emphasis on Governor Palin being a mayor of "a really...really small town".

Once again the snobbery of Obama's support system has reared its ugly head once again. How come Damon didn’t reveal that the only thing we know about Obama is that he has been a US Senator for a little over two-years, before that a state senator (of which he voted Not Present on legislation more times than you could imagine, opposed to voting no - not present is counted as a no vote). But during these times he was campaigning for president - Obama has not done a single noteworthy thing as either a state or US senator. Oh, he was a community organizer. Just what I want running my country - we'll all be living in government housing projects before you know it, and eating cheese from brown boxes.

I know, why I am making such a fuss about someone so insignificant like Matt Damon? I do this just to prove more and more how out of touch people are when they sit higher and higher on a mountain, a mountain of their own crap that the paying public gave to them. But yet they will portray one of us in a movie – too funny.

CBS has shown that the only political analysts they can get for a "serious" opinion, is that of Matt Damon - where I come from we would call Damon a schmuck for saying what he did. Actors have traditionally been socialists due to their out of touch with ideology. There have been exceptions to the rule - Ronald Reagan being the most noteworthy. However, it was Reagan, a former Democrat, saw the ways of the jackass party, switched parties and became one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century as a Republican.

Listen, Damon, Baldwin, Garafalo, Letterman - all of these idiots must remember that the cheers they hear when they speak ignorance is nothing to the clicking they should hear of us little people changing the channel and turning them off. As for me - Damon can kiss my ass - because I will not had out another dollar to see anything that he does knowing that my dollar will be somehow, indirectly donated to a socialist cause. I am merely just a little old disabled retired police officer, I worked in NYC, but now live in a small town in Florida, I own guns, and have a U.S. flag flying in my front lawn.

I guess these people all relate to Obama, maybe it’s because he reads scripts so well that he could be is an actor.
